$1,595,000 offer by Chesapeake Energy Corp. for oil and gas drilling rights on property owned by the village has been taken off the table LINK. New bids due by July 13th.

I'm sure the politicians will some how put a good spin on missing the boat.

 

The price being offered has came down as fast as it went up.
