You had 5 formation that allow you to get a 5,000 bonus and how thick are the geological formation.  Rhinestreet,  Huron,  marcellus,  utica,  and there is one other formation mentioned in a article.

There are quite a few producing formations in Ohio.  Each one obviously yields different results and different values.  $5,000/acre bonus is for the Utica/Point Pleasant but if gas prices ever recover the Marcellus should be a decent formation in some parts here.  Since I'm not sure what you're asking it's hard to give you a more concise answer.

They are not paying per formation, they are paying for the Utica in Ohio at this time. That's not to say if your contract gives all formations they wouldn't drill into them at some other time. A bunch of the newer leases restrict the oil co. To the queenston down which includes the Utica and Trenton black.
