Thanks Jim.   It worked the second time - for some reason the first time it came through incorrectly with the text all on the same level.

DBD,

I drive by the site every morning taking munchkins to school.   Today there was a large wooden stake pounded in what appears to be the entrance area.    

I too have noticed those long permitted wells with no activity- I do believe I have even seen plat maps for the Hoppel and Weber wells.

I know Smith Road well.   I cannot imagine it won't need lots of updating to handle the traffic. 

This Fairfield Twnshp well site is less than a mile as the crow flies from our property, just trying to glean as much info as possible.    

If you have driven by the Sanor well ( which I think you have)- you know what an easy location that well has.   This well is much the same.  An open field on the corner of two good roads within a few miles of a Rt7 to the east and Rt 11 to the west.   Not to mention the very large gas line that runs through the area - in fact if it doesn't run through that parcel, it's very close.

Went by this morning a truck from Kelchner Construction was parked there and they were surveying.....

This morning GES was taking water samples from the pond at the corner of Crestview Rd and Lower Elkton on Miller's property.

Im wondering how long if at all they will be in surrounding areas......im probably 2 miles " as the crow flies" southeast from this well....

I don't know.   Just had to run an errand, passed the same truck coming from town.   WHen I came back they were at the first house east of Lower Elkton on the North side of Crestview Rd.    

We are about a mile as the crow flies SW of the well site.  Our property goes to the corner where they were testing the pond.

Yes.  But that is a different well.    The section of Beeson Mill involved runs between 344 and 164, just east of Leetonia village.   I believe it is once again a parcel with an old lease that will have to be renewed if not started soon.

Where is the discussion - strickly shale. I live within 1 mile of there. Went to beeson mill and they are working on the road. Right off 164. The field at the end of the road is where it appears the well will be. In the field were markers and people surveying. Also was haevy equipment parked - a pan.

Looks like you found that discussion.

The Beeson Mill well will probably be called the Mellinger well.  The Fairfield School Rd well will be called the Ward well. 

Maybe the Beeson Mill location is the reason your water was tested??
