This site is very helpful but it would be nice if there was a map of all drilling sites in Columbiana County. Not sure if anyone has one but share if you do.

Sean,
I zoomed-in on the 4 wells located at the Trebilcock Well Pad off Trinity Church Rd, South of SR-30.
Only Well # 2170, the "PERMIT" symbol, was labelled correctly !!!
The 3 other "RIG" symbols showed this information (from top, to bottom) ...
# 21717 = Reed well <- wrong
# 21730 = Grubbs well <- wrong
# 21727 = Carney well <- wrong
I cannot trust the information presented on that map ...
The map is nice but I noticed most of the well information is out of date or wrong.
Let me know if anyone has an more trustworthily tool.
Sean,
The ODNR map is "trustworthy".
I have found a few mistakes.
I reported the mistakes and they were fixed.
The ODNR Map does not always have up-to-date information but is good enough.
Do you have a web address for the ODNR Maps.
Thanks
I think I found it.. http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/Website/Geosurvey/geosurvey_emergency_oi...
Sean,
Every County forum in the Ohio section on GMS has an "ODNR Reports" thread ...

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
