EQT is bringing in on Dobeck site ... ahead of time... some tanks etc.. in preparation for down the road...
Im "guessing" they will Frack Dobeck pad as soon as they remove the equipment from Kastelic pad..
Wouldn't make sense to move equipment out that is "ready to go" to work...:)
TRUCK AFTER TRUCK all day long of SAND for these Fracking operations...
These Frack stages are jammed full of sand....lots of it....
Pure speculation on my part.. but I look for EQT to ask for "pooling" on these pads...?
If they do.. that would mean... these pads are GONNA BE PRODUCTIVE....:)
all of OUR local leases say..."640" MAXIMUM.....:).... Amarado AND Jeff Riggins did us a favor...:)
No complaints on our leases... all 4 pages....:)
New EQT leases "REQUIRE" pooling...

On Cubbison rd in Guernsey county ohio...
Across from NCD3 or Kastelic pad....
Do you know the status of the wells on Red Lane, my property is right below off Hendershot Rd.
Sorry cant help on those...
On hold until EQT reviews results of NCD3 and Dobeck wells.
Mike,
How is the frac coming on the NCD3 wells or are they done?
Not done till about next Wed...
I would think they would go to Dobeck next...
But the latest info says they will go to Pa first.. and do a well.. that's Cudd..
Maybe EQT will bring some other outfit in for Dobeck
Dobeck has some tanks already installed etc....
Hard to figure EQT out now....
They figured out that they don't know what they're doing,so they are asking for help/grabbing at straws. At least they are willing to admit it,and ask those who know! I figure he Utica/PP. code will soon be known. Maybe they should ask Rice?
Here is my guess..
No one has drilled over here but one outfit...bad hole
Then EQT had Halliburton do spencer and clark.. not so good..
HALLIBURTON did not do many Frac stages...and or sand....!!
Most wells EAST of here have LOOOONG laterals....more oil..
I THINK.. the only answer. is............longer laterals.. naturally
BUT... MANY FRAC STAGES.... AND ALL THE SAND YOU CAN CRAM IN....
SAND IS THE BIGGEST ANSWER....
and CUDD has jammed more sand in these holes then you can imagine...
our one leg is less then 5000 feet and has FORTY SEVEN FRAC STAGES !!
and 2 million pounds of SAND !!
THEN.... any lateral needs to set for at least 30 days.. to let the pressure keep
"cracking" the shale....deeper and deeper into the shale...
When they start production on my lateral... will be the first one to do.. it will have set
for over 6 weeks....!!
Aubry is drilling up by Antrim first...
No one is buying leases any more over in this area....
Unless they Frac thru a FAULT that is FULL OF OIL... I think these Cubbison wells
will be just average...
No one gonna get rich over here....but should pay all bills... we hope...:)
When they did Clark.. very few sand trucks went by daily..
FOR THE LAST 6 WEEKS PLUS......8-10 SAND TRUCKS DAY AND NITE...
SOME DAYS UP TO 15 TRUCKS...!!
all going into a LITTLE 5 INCH HOLE ? and OUT THE CRACKS....:)
Rice claims their secret to success in the Utica is keeping that drill bit going on the straightest line possible, not up and down and all around. Sounds like others aren't doing this? I was told some drillers think that big dips in the lateral causes reseviors for oil ,other thionk it only causes traps, like your kitchen sink.
That is a thought about having some "traps"
but I think they want to drain the "sponge" which is the Shale...
and varies in thickness... so they would have to follow the "thickness" of the shale..
I just wonder what makes up the Point Pleasant.....? sand shale ? or Utica shale ?
I do know they went way down BELOW the Utica here INTO THE PP..
.. and angled UP into the Utica at the end....
I think they just underestimated the HEAT over here..
BUT...
I was told the OIL at the first well at the gravel pit..
was HIGHLY VOLOTILE !!
You could see RIGHT THRU IT in a glass jar....
Just wasn't a LOT of it... maybe the way they drilled....
I guess we will start finding out in about a couple weeks
when the bring in the tanks and start FLOW BACK...

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
