Does anyone know if there is any effort to provide natural gas to rural homeowners in Guernsey County?
Give the massive production in the area (and that yet to come), it would be nice to provide affordable natural gas for heating and other purposes to the area and not simply package and ship it all away. This may be something for the political folk to work on in looking out for local interests and not simply corporate profit.

Another complication is folks have electric or fuel oil heat, they would not replace all and change to natural gas appliances wholesale, this is bad for the investment economics. Even if a company ventured to install rural gas lines, the monthly cost of service would be astronomical even if the product was very cheap.
