Permalink Reply by David Cain on October 23, 2023 at 4:07am According to the ODNR Oil and Gas viewer site (https://gis.ohiodnr.gov/mapviewer/?config=oilgaswells) it looks like 3 new units are being formed that are at least partially in Millwood Township. One (not named) will be just above the J. Anderson well and two (Rock Ridge S and Rock Ridge SW) will be on the Guernsey/Belmont border with only a little acreage in Millwood. I'm not exactly sure what this means, but only the "rectangle" for the units are colored in. There are no lines showing the actual well laterals. Maybe these units are in very early or planning stages.

I don't know about the Arick, but the 3 Rock Ridge units have just been approved by the ODNR. These units are on the Guernsey/Belmont county line. The pad is in place for these 3 units on Putney Ridge. There is also a pad denoted as "Withey" on the ODNR gas well viewer that is located on Gobblers Knob in the SE corner of Belmont that should travel NNW into Millwood. I tried to find that one last week while out driving around but could not find it for sure. I have also received an uptick in offers lately. Glad to see that you are back on the site. It has been pretty quite for some time. Hopefully, things will pick up soon.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
