4th quarter production has not been released yet. The drillers have 45 days from the end of the quarter to send in their well production results.
ODNR should be releasing it soon or they might wait until March to release it. It takes them some time to compile all the data on the wells for the report. Then in April we will get the 1st and 2nd quarter production results.
I swear, there must be just ONE person at the ODNR camp that is responsible for getting these reports out. Here it is almost April and NO 4th qtr. 2013 production report. They were reporting well activity reports on Mondays for a while, now here it is TUES> no report. Maybe if that one person calls off,or takes a vacation,or is told to do somebody else's job, cause they took off, it just doesn't get done. Maybe it's buried so deep on his desk now that he just cant get to it?
ALL of the oil companys are keeping quiet... this quarterly report...
because... when the report comes out.. how MUCH OIL they are getting..
there will be a STAMPEDE of drillers in Western Guernsey etc...
Even with production cut back.. OIL OIL OIL..
Clark well doing a minimum of ONE TANKER A DAY....most likel;y two. as we don't always see one go out at 3 am...
supposedly two a day according to the drivers...
and that's with a well with enough PRESSURE to push the oil out...
and at 2 tankers a day.. THATS OVER ONE MILLION $$ GROSS A MONTH FOR DRILLER...
They are keeping the production reports quiet as long as possible. is what I was "told"
by someone who "knows" whats going on...
Time will tell...
NSA knows :)
some of those tankers could maybe be brine?..........at least in the 3rd QTR they put out as much brine as they did oil........they are pretty impressive though..........especially compared to the nearby spencer wells which seem to be duds.....
i dont think its the oil company keeping things quiet....they have to report by law.......i think the DNR must be overwhelmed..........although it's hard to believe it takes more than a few days to complile data into a spreadsheet............but maybe the production data from the oil companies is as confusing as it looks on royalty check stubs......so maybe it is difficult to turn it into a report.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
