Permalink Reply by Booger on July 24, 2014 at 8:43am yes there is a bunch of producing shallow wells.........but also half of tappan lake is in the twp which is not leased yet but should be by the end of the year.........
and yes the NW part of the twp is across the oil line.........but most of the twp should see activity especially if the lake gets leased.
Permalink Reply by coyco on August 6, 2014 at 5:23am I was just contacted by a representative of American Energy Partners (AEP). They want to place a pad on our property. Our property is on Adams Road in Franklin Township near Deersville. That's all I know now. We are working on setting up a meeting with their representative (Steve Lamp).

Permalink Reply by coyco on August 6, 2014 at 5:39am It is about 1000 ft south of Moravian Trail Rd.
Permalink Reply by Booger on August 6, 2014 at 7:30am interesting location........... NW laterals would fall into MWCD.........I wonder if AEP is looking to lease the lake.
also, SE laterals would have to be 11,000 feet long to reach the AEP units Jones and/or RH BSAN......while not unheard of, that is a long lateral and I don't think AEP is currently drilling anything that long yet...........but there will be long lateral needs to drill the lake property.
