In the past few days, I have noticed a helicopter in the Cadiz-East Cadiz area. It is trailing a long cable with something attached. It keeps dipping close to the ground and then rises again in a minute or so and keeps repeating the process. My curiosity has gotten the best of me. Does anyone know what it is up to?

A friend of ours worked for AEP flying a chopper to trim power line ROWs. When we saw the chopper, we assumed that is what they are doing. It is a chain saw that hangs down.
Mystery solved-Thanks
I also saw the helicopters flying low and around our house near Rt 22 and Rt 519. They are dropping orange bags onto the ground. The orange bags contain sensors for the Geophysical crew to set up . Some people have signed up for the seismic survey, and thats what they are doing. We spoke to the workers on the ground when they picked up the orange bags.
As I was reading this reply I heard the helicopter and he was leaving an orange package in my pasture. Thanks
