Encino is signing leases in Harrison where they need to wrap up units for their 5 year drill plan. Right now companies are only leasing what they plan to drill over the next few years

Have you heard anything more about leasing in Harrison County? I have been getting several calls about selling and have had what sounds like good offers. I would rather lease so I can hold on to the rights for the family when I'm gone. My acres are in Green Township. Thanks

Would suggest you reach out to Ascent on their website. You are in their drilling area.  I got an very quick reply from them.  Also DPS land services is leasing for Encino and they have also replied to inquiries on leasing.  You are in an area that seems to be getting a lot of interest.  The calls to buy seems to be a sign that your area is of interest.  I am in the far eastern area of Harrison and near the lake so we are not at the top of anyones list.  Also check the unit hearings on ODNR.  This will tell you if there are any pads in your area that could include your land.  Hope this helps and good luck to you.
