I wonder if Buell is going to get any money out of this deal?

Maybe they settled with him and can safely proceed.

SB

The Chesapeake v. Buell case was heard on August. 20th by the Ohio Supreme Court. Probably be some time before a ruling, however a settlement is always possible.

Could you post the link where to locate this information?  I have not been able to find it in the well locator map.

I found the permits on the ODNR database in the county engineers reports. The reason they are not showing on the well locator map yet is because the permits have not yet been approved by the ODNR. Once ODNR approves the permits they will be put on the well locator map. You can then see the lateral lengths and direction of the wells. The link for the ODNR database can be found below at this link.

I just took a look at them on the well locator on the Odnr site. I'm surprised at how long the Buell laterals are . From measuring them on there they are pushing 10,000'. And the CHK Mattie well next to the Buell measure over 11,000' wow . It seems like CHK is stretching them out in that area .

Nomac 71 is on the pad now. Drilled and cemented the 1H, doing the 3H now. Total measured distance is 18,591' with a Total Vertical Depth of 8,369'.  So yeah, around 10,000' for the drilling unit.
