As previously noted, the Mayberry well #715 appears readynto produce. One rumor is that there is a problem attaching to a suitable (or convenient) pipeline to transport the gas. The second rumor is that the well will be capped as an asset for the future and may not produce for years.
Why all the secrecy surrounding this operation and isn't it the right of leaseholders to be kept informed of the status of these wells?

We will just have to wait and see I guess. Infrastructure projects surely must kick into high gear in the County soon. That is , if we are as liquid rich as we are supposed to be and these Companies are sincere about producing our resources.
Word is Shell has to decide by the end of December if they will excercise their option to actually purchase the Horsehead site and build the Cracker Plant in Vanport. If they do say yes , then perhaps things will speed up a little.
Keep your fingers crossed.
Permalink Reply by George Trusik on January 22, 2013 at 5:19pm Through a friend that is a manager at an auto parts store, I was told the construction of the pipeline connecting the Mayberry is under way. It seems the company working on the pipeline is setting up credit accounts at a number of retailers in the area. It was also related to him that the Mayberry well is loaded with oil and wet gas and the leaseholders will be seeing good royalties, supposedly beginning early this summer. Anyone else hear or see any movemrnt concerning the pipeline??
By tbe way, has Shell exercised their option on the Vanport cracker plant?
Did the little bird let you know what company it is that is tht is doing the pipeline?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
