No posts in over 2 months on Mahoning Co.

Hard to realize nothing worth posting in over two months in Mahoning County.  Noticed that Halcon has cut back funding for drilling.  Lets put our ears to the ground and if we have heard rumor or  have knowledge of anything going on lets share it.

hilcorp i would have to say is moving west from from the state line into coitsville.they have a dozen wells just over the line with the pipelines in. there are a lot of farms in the coitsville area that are leased to hilcorp.

No news, not even rumors or gossip. Some wells are going in in Columbiana county just south of the county line. The leases Chesapeake signed in 2010 will begin expiring in a few (6-8) months. I guess we'll see then if there's any interest in renewing.
