Don't sign anything without an attorney. I was advised to not sign/allow seismic testing on my land by the attorney's that put together my lease. Partly because the agreement is open ended, meaning no end date, and the small sum they were offering allowed them to do whatever damage they wanted but not pay to fix it.
Thanks for responding, I've done some asking around and it sounds as if I don't allow them to do this the mineral owners could come after me with a suit. I don't have the mineral rights and the landman told me that it was going to last for 6 months. I somewhat feel violated for just turning my property over with some stupid open end agreement.
