What happened to the Hess lease offer? looks like it was deleted all over the site.

Was this all a joke? Seems like a check of a presentation for a joke.

I'm not being sarcastic, Tom - people should THINK.  This was such an extreme offer, so completely different from any of the other oil and gas company leases and offerings, that maybe somebody should have raised some questions.  What's unfortunate is that one assumes that attorneys are smart enough to figure this stuff out, and one usually has some faith in attorneys as much as they do their physicians, when it turns out they can be just as clueless as anybody else.  The landowners are the ones that are hurt, and that's a crime, because they just got jerked around again.  Wishguard, ILG, Des...  There's no shortage of hustlers.  You certainly should have received better, from a law firm.  And I'm very sorry for those folks who were led to believe this deal was legitimate.  Everybody, including law firms, are trying to get a piece of this big pie.  I'm not even sure it's ethical for attorneys to run this sort of lease sign up/lease negotiations when they have a material interest in the deal, are getting paid and profiting from it.

WHO was the law firm / group that presented this 'deal'?  There shouldn't be any problem naming them on here as some landowners will want to know.

Thanks.
