So what does this mean for those of us that are HBP with NCL wells in Mahoning County?

It means Halcon will own your lease and may drill some Point Pleasant wells on that land.

I hope they do alot of drilling. Is Mahoning County still considered good?

Probably, though the hot spot is in Carroll county at the moment.  CNX is drilling in Mahoning right now, so we'll know more about the economics of Mahoning county once there are more data points.

I spoke with a CNX land rep last week who said "Mahoning is going to be good."

I've heard a few rumors that the area between 534 and 45 is supposed to be a hot area. Also heard that there will soon be 10 more permits issued for Mahoning County.

CHK has had a completed pad in that area for 6+ months.  I'm curious as to what is taking them so long to develop that site.
