I was wondering if anyone that comes to check things on Sullivan County has any information on Elk Run's well that they are working on. As I do not live back there and have some interest in what is going on back there so if anyone does know anything I would greatly appreciate what you might know Thanks Penny

I would prefer to contact our state legislators to encourage them to continue to allow our country to develop natural gas as a means of eliminating our dependence on foreign oil while at the same time reducing greenhouse gases. At this time, this is our best alternative as wind and solar have significant negative environmental effects while also being ineffective on a large scale.
Secondarily, the development of the Marcellus Shale has been an economic boost to our entire region which has struggled for decades, relying only on the fickle and inconsistent money trickle from tourism. In reality this development has a tiny footprint(especially compared to wind or solar) on a beautiful area and will not damage the opportunities for hiking, canoeing or camping.
Finally, I do not believe Gary P's post is appropriate in this forum as it does not address Penny's question. To this fact, I apologize as well for going off topic. Unfortunately, I do not have any information to specifically answer your question, Penny.
