Does anyone know the status of the Hunsinger well?  Also is this well going to be tied into the proposed Marc I pipeline?

Scott,

I was at the well site a few weeks ago. There is a sign saying visiting hours 10am to 2pm, so I drove right up to the pad and got turned away. Other than the rig being set and a lot of activity I can't say what was going on. My guess is that it will be tied into a gathering system and held until Marc I Hub or tied into a gathering system from Bradford County and put into production.

The rig is taken down. They took a core sample of the Marcellus and the word is that they may return at a later date to drill the gas well.
I guess I’m not surprised Jeff. When you look at the infrastructure of the pipelines; the Hunsinger farm is centered between point A and point B of the proposed Marc 1 pipeline project. CNYOG is likely trying to market sponsorship commitment, before investing millions to design and construct the pipeline. Chesapeake would likely be a huge sponsor, seeing that they lease a large amount of mineral rights in the area. I assume the core sample will be evaluated to determine the fertility of the gas formation in the area before Chesapeake commits to CNYOG. Again this is not fact it is just an assumption, however, you need to put the horse in front of the cart, or in this case, you need to secure a horse to the cart in order to move the fruits to market. I am interested to know how thick they found the formation and the quality of the shale?
I have heard that the well has been drilled and now has to be fraced.
This is my understanding, however things change. The Yengo pipeline is going to the well. Its 12 miles from Wyalusing. Then another line is conneting to it above the Hunsinger well and going towards Mildred. The Marc line is a transfer line, not going to wells. The Marc I is in the comment period and many certified letters have been sent to property owners. Marc I is a 39 mile line, 30 inch pipeline, thus a major line, running near Hwy 220.
how far south and east are they going to extend the Yengo pipeline towards Red Rock?
