Just heresay - but i was told that one person was taken to the hospital and he will be ok.
Anyone have any more info? Can't find any reports on it, so wondering if anything happened down there or not...
There is nothing " natural" about shooting carcinogenic chemicals 6000 feet underground to blow apart rock. More accidents will follow. In the meantime, the peace and quiet of Pennsylvania is destroyed. Drill rigs going 24/7, truck traffic, helicopters dropping bags of seismic testing tools into fields; neighbor's wells polluted. this is my world now on my property WHICH I DID NOT LEASE AND NEVER WILL! WHO GIVES THESE PEOPLE THE RIGHT TO DO THIS!
It's called property rights. If you choose not to enter into a private contract with an oil and gas company to develop your property, so be it.

By the way, this isn't the first post that I've seen from you "bashing" people who are developing their property. Unless you have NO electricity in your house and don't put gas in your car to go to work, you are contributing to the exploration of oil and gas. It's a commodity that is needed across the US--unless you think we should live like a third world country.

Wise up--enough is enough!
Good one Lukens! I too am tiring of Carolyn's constant bashing of an industry that provides heat to warm homes, and fuel to run generators to provide electricity.

We live in a modern world, not the stone age. Modern technology has given us the ability to frac these wells and produce a clean burning fuel source, to provide jobs for thousands of people and to provide income for many.

Carolyn, please go through your home and throw away everything that is:
1. carcinogenic; that means all of your cleaning fluids and many other things.
2. anything made as a result of natural gas production; start with plastics and go from there
3. turn off your lights, your heat, your A/C. You can't derive convenience from such an "evil" industry
4. walk or ride a bike wherever you go, no matter how far, because you obviously hate the oil and gas industry so you shouldn't use their products.
5. get a life
