Thank you for (all) of the information so far.  Have not seen paperwork as of yet; (I am the minority shareholder)...

Anyway, lady came to home a week ago.  She had said they left messages on our phone that had not been returned - true.  They (Dominion) had been planning to put another pipeline through property.  This endeavor requires X number of feet...

Ground breaking would commence in the spring...  They provided the deal w/previous landowner detailing their committments w/ the pipeline.  I know that the prior negotiations did not have any affect on our deal making.  They still needed our signatures.  It had been hinted that it would end up in court and I know it would.  Don' t have the energies!!!!!!!!

I have a few undergraduate law courses under my belt courtesy of Penn state University and I therefore understood what she had conveyed to my partner.  It's coming, it's coming.  We do not feel threatened by the E Domain card.  However, I am not hiring an attorney.

I really did not give anything up.  It does not cloud title.  I am still a free-agent and able to sign w/any energy company I see fit.

Reimbusement for trees newly planted and comparitively compensated so land.  I really did not give up anything, I gained...  These guys are the direct infrastructure guys, hey they did me a favor...

I look at it as I have another direct pipeling through my property...  Much more marketable.

Again, I had not been at the scene of the attack, however am privy to the details of the conversation; it had been a quick, matter-of-fact one. 

Not sure how the neighbors are responding.
