Ely hill road. Lu Ann and I drove from Wellsboro up to Ely hill road yesterday. My former brother in law Roland Ely lives on the Hill. I stopped by to visit him one day last summer to ask about drilling activity. He told me that there was a well on an adjoining farm. He did not seem to be very happy about the situation but he did not elaborate.

Anyway As we continued  over the hill I saw what looked to be a pipeline which crossed the road just north or east of the top of the hill. I did see what looked like a small pipe sticking up from the center of the  pipeline area. Looked much too small to be a well.  Was unable to look at it closer as another vehicle was approaching.

Seems to be much dump truck activity moving thru Westfield yesterday west over route 49. Could not tell what they were loaded with... possibily gravel.
