...also see more than a dozen white industrial-type pick-ups parked alongside County Road 14 (Fallen Timber) every day, with "PipeLine Work" on the temporary caution road signs... they appear to be headed directly to the pad??? Ideas? Only one flare yesterday AM and no flares 6 hours later....

buz when i went by the nettle well tonite it looked like they put up another oil rig or is it something else. thanks

Hi Buz, do you know if anything is going on  over at the nettle well ? It seems pretty quiet over there, Thanks Tena

Any idea if this is the week we get results?

TIA

Perhaps an aid to the discussion, large map updated through Nov. 29, 2014 Ohio DNR release.

Zoom and click surface, well path or bottom hole locations for data. Red well path and bottom hole symbol clearly shows location of Enervest Nettle 3H

the well on the nettle was really burning high last night

To us laymen, what does that mean? good or bad? I assume good.

TIA

I have no idea but its still burning, Tena

ok, thanks.

Can anyone let us know what that burning is ?

Hoping you're all seeing the 'flaring' process.

No emergency vehicles or crews involved are there ?

They say the flaring process is a necessary evil to get at the oil.

If it is - it's too bad the fuel isn't going to market instead.

Keep us all in the loop / informed kindly.

Good luck and thanks.

The flaring Friday dusk was massive - wider and higher than one could imagine from a single pipe - but that it was. And no one seemed to treat it as an emergency. even the black smoke atop it was conservatively more than 4 times as wide and high as any I've seen.  Could be the gel propane which we are told is retrievable - and more environmentally sound???  - shrug? - need more factual information.

Can you say; "gag order" ?
