I noticed Halcon was issued a drilling permit on 5/7/13 for the Desko 2H Well in Clinton Township. On the permit report where the configuration of the well is specified it states "Deviated Well". I didn't know what this meant because usually it's either a vertical or a horizontal under configuration.

So I requested the well plats to see what they looked like. It looks like a horizontal well to me. Can anybody explain what a "Deviated Well" is? I attached the plats and permit report for anyone interested. The well is targeting the Point Pleasant Formation.
