Tim Greene, owner of Land and Mineral Management of Appalachia, said until the company gets these lines in place, those who have signed gas leases will not see any production royalties. "People always feel they are getting low-balled," Greene said, noting landowners should be able to get $30-$50 per foot for having a pipeline stretched across their land. "It's worth at least $25 per foot, but not $100 per foot."

Gasoholic, Watch out for pipeline companies passing out ROW contracts that don't specify pipeline size, number, content, and define where they are to be placed on your property. These companies are collecting right of ways in order to provide the 36 inch pipeline companies with your right of way and collect the "toll" from them leaving you with nothing.
