Thanks for the reply. My direct involvement in shale is minimal - more so interested in gaining an education on the subject and its compound effect on NEPA. I do have an ancillary interest in Shale - getting my PG involved in shale development in NEPA. He has 10+ years of env consulting, but nothing in Shale. Given the "boom" happening in the area and the longevity of the industry for years to come, he'd like to break into it now and make a career of it - problem is that he doesn't have the oil/gas experience that it looks like everyone is asking for. He's an smart guy (ivy league grad) and learns quickly. I came on here to scope out the industry and see who the players are and what skill sets would be needed.
Thanks,
Kat
i have a friend in NC who is a PG w/ 10+ years work experience and is looking to break into the PA shale game. However, he lacks the requisite experience in shale. Any thoughts or advice for how he can break into the game?
thanks!
