Regarding Copley's in Wellsboro, I doubt if the folks you mentioned are related to us, but don't really know for sure. Most U.S. Copleys originate from County Yorkshire, England. My family's ancestors came to the U.S. from Ireland, so I assume somewhere along the line our ancestors must have first migrated from England to Ireland before eventually coming here. BTW my wife did have an Aunt named Betty Roy who lived there in Wellsboro, but she passed away a few years ago.
Are there many companies besides East/Shell that are active near Wellsboro right now? Cheers. --Tom
