- I have an 80 Acre Farm in Washington County near Belpre, OH. It has an existing oil/gas Well that is minimally producing and a gas well that has been non-producing for at least two years.
I have the original Lease which contains Pooling Clauses which states that "the Lessor grants to lessee the right to pool or communitize said premises or any parts thereof, with other land to comprise an oil development unit of not more than approximately 40 acres and/or a gas development unit of not more than approximately 160 acres.">> This would preclude the deep well people from using this lease to "Hold by Production" as they appear to be claiming.
