Scotland officially opposes fracking out of a fear of being politically incorrect, but hope arises in the once Land of the Brave as “fracking” is whispered.
The recent history of Scotland, home of William Wallace and “Land of the Brave,” where freedom was once worth fighting for, has been one of a long descent into feckless political correctness. Fracking is one of the latest victims, but a wonderful story in the Dundee Sunday Post indicates some Scots are ready to entertain it, if only through whispers.

That way we might be able to afford to heat our homes, now that the cold, calculated money-grabbers from Centrica, parent company of Scottish Gas, have decided to turn up the heat on their standard variable tariffs by increasing them 3.8%…
And that’s the second hike in less than a year…
