Please help the Northeast Supply Enhancement by letting state decision makers know you support this critical natural gas pipeline.
The Northeast Supply Enhancement pipeline is an extension of the existing Williams Transco pipeline which will extend the Transco pipeline by approximately 37 miles. It will include a new compressor station in Pennsylvania, expansion into New Jersey and an offshore pipeline in the New York Bay.
The demand for natural gas is increasing In New York City and in some areas they are only being served by a single gas supply line. The Northeast Supply Enhancement pipeline’s critical offshore infrastructure will help strengthen the reliability of natural gas being supplied to New York and New Jersey.
This project is in currently seeking its water permits from NYSDEC and NJDEP. The NYSDEC has already denied once. Megan Stafford, public outreach business partner of Williams is asking for everyone to tell their state decision makers they support the Northeast Supply Enhancement.
