The Northern Wayne Property Owners Alliance has issued a letter to the Delaware River Basin Commission insisting the agency act upon the regulations it developed two years ago to regulate natural gas development in the basin and promises to litigate if there isn’t action soon.

Things are getting mighty interesting on the Delaware these days. The Northern Wayne Property Owners Alliance (NWPOA) Executive Committee has sent Executive Director Carol Collier and the Commissioners of the Delaware River Basin Commission a letter demanding action on the long overdue regulations for natural gas development in the basin. This, taken together with NWPOA’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, the Wayne County Commissioner’s recent letter and Governor Tom Corbett’s strong statement to the Commission reflects a total loss of patience on the part of Pennsylvanians and landowners in the Upper Delaware region with the inexcusable delay.
