If you’re looking for a job in Otsego County, prepare for the worst. Opportunities in the classified ads are limited. The “Big Box” stores will take your application, add it to the pile. The jobs are mostly part time, hovering around minimum wage with minimum health benefits, if any. Experienced? Good ! College? That’s nice! Join the others in the pile. Service jobs at the hospitals or in restaurants— the same deal. And remember, don’t call them – they’ll call you.
