A few years ago, I had a job where I traveled overnight 4 days a week. During that time, I came to appreciate the hotels that did the little things to make life easy. Many of you know what I am talking about. The hot breakfast that went beyond gravy from a can, the free newspaper, friendly staff to bring you more towels and the list goes on. Well, I think I have found the solution for many of you that are looking for a travel solution - the Residence Inn, Pittsburg Airport. Me: What are your observations of the Marcellus Shale?
Carly: We are aware that Shalers work extremely hard and we want to provide them the service they deserve.

Me: Tell us a little about your background and your job.
Carly: My name is Carly Strouse. I was raised in Pittsburgh and love my Hometown. I enjoy spending time with my 7 yr old daughter, Steeler Football and working out. Here,
I am the Sales Coordinator for The Residence Inn by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport and love my job. I am able to interact with several people throughout the day to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. Previously I worked in educational sales and the restaurant industry.

Me: What do people need to know about the Residence Inn at the Pittsburg Airport?
Carly: Residence Inn is THE leading extended stay hotel in the industry. We offer countless amenities to our guests and are always willing to go above and beyond. Many of our guests are here much longer than the typical hotel stay. That being said we take every step to make our hotel a home away from home.

Me: How about your specific location, what sets you apart?
Carly: The Residence Inn Pittsburgh Airport is a fantastic all-suite property that was fully renovated in 2007 featuring kitchens with full size refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, etc. All of our suites are equipped with cook top ranges (some even have ovens at no additional charge) with utensils and cookware. Of course, we have guest laundry facilities and plenty of parking, even for trucks. We also provide shuttle service to and from the airport as well as the local area.

Me: How about food and relaxation? Marcellus Shale workers love their food.
Carly: Rates include a hot breakfast buffet daily as well as an evening social hour Monday through Wednesday including beer, wine, and a light meal. Other amenities include complimentary wireless internet access, a heated pool and whirlpool.

Me: What do your rates look like?
Carly: We are prepared to match or beat a rate that you currently have AND have several incentive programs in place to those bringing business here. We also want to stress that we understand that Shalers are on a budget and I am happy to work with them and their employers.
