What if you lost your wife suddenly to a quick and deadly cancer? What if, as a nurse, she was making the majority of the household income even though you worked for a Fortune-500 company like IBM? Then, what if, less then two years from the day she died and after spending your life savings to treat your wife’s illness, that company downsizes and you are left jobless with two of four children still at home? That was my story prior to natural gas arriving in the Southern Tier of New York.
