- I am a Ph.D. student at Kent State University is the Geography Department, where I am interested in the economic and environmental impacts of natural gas drilling on rural communities. I am in full support of the natural gas industry as an alternative to traditional oil extraction to get us through until we can develop more sustainable technologies such as wind, solar, geothermal, and others.
