Tom Hart replied to rmc's discussion 'Tyler county lease offer'
"Seems to be true according to WV DEC. Great news or all. As for the high price being because of low water costs for fracking, other technologies are emerging that displace the need for water. I don't think that's a significant…"

Tom Hart replied to David Perotto's discussion 'Ney York is closer to shutting the door on fracing'
"I mean banning fracing isn't the answer, more effort is needed to identify a more reasonable solution. The industry needs to realize it either stops damaging water supplies and acts responsibly or be chained down with govt…"

Tom Hart replied to David Perotto's discussion 'Ney York is closer to shutting the door on fracing'
"Folks are always scared about things they don't know. I don't trust any Oil Company anymore than I trust govt., especially companies like Cheasapeak. However in having a BS degree in engr, I find it difficult to just write off fracing. On…"

"The best most secure approach is to work with your surrounding mineral rights and property owners in clusters of at least 700 to 1400 acres (anything larger will just slow down the process via introduction of so many competing priorities) using a…"

Tom Hart replied to Bob Donaghy's discussion 'Initial production, Tyler Co. wells' in the group Tyler County, WV

Survey-What's the biggest risk to residing land & mineral owners?

Hey ya'll,Just wondering how folks will answer this question. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against drilling, I want the reserves developed (but it's up to my Mom), just want to make sure no one suffers in the process!! So if your a surface owner as well as a mineral rights owner and live on on the same property, what's your biggest concern about the prospect of drilling on your property? Getting the most bonus money?Getting the most gas royalty?Irrevocable damage to the surface property?Loss…See More

"Just another landman/middleman. I don't understand why people are so impressed by a lease you wrote up that favors the owners so much that it'll be nearly impossible to "sell" to a gas company. What happens when these people sign…"
