- Upsetting!!! We do not own our gas rights. They were reserved years ago. We tried to get ownership due to non payment of mineral taxes but a local attorney drug feet to much and never finished our job. Oh well. Nice people own it, but they were pushed into signing early, for way less than we were offered.
My question now is how can I propose to gas company that I would like a gas well on my land? I have 400acre seems to be prime and located great. I need one, money is tough on my family now and if we don't get a dream come true well we will probably lose our home and everything else too. I'm trying to think of everything to use our land to raise the money we need. Any ideas?
