We have property in Trumbull County and have been told by ALOV two more weeks but they have said that 3 times.  I am concerned about the length of time it is taking versus what they said it would take.  Has anyone else heard that they are promoting somewhere around $4000 or $4500 an acre and around 18% in royalties.  I have also heard people in the area  say that those per acre prices will start coming down as the companies expand into Trumbull County.  We have had interest at $1500 to $2000 per acre and 15% royalties and the ALOV proposal has more but I am not sure if it will really come true.

What is ALOV may I ask?

Associated Landowners of the Ohio Valley - their web address is http://www.alov.us/

I heard 2 more weeks also but i dont know

I tried to contact ALOV by email but didn't get any reply

The last info I got was last week and there was one more company they were meeting with. I have heard rumors about figures, they were lower than your 4000/ acre number, but I don't put any merit in any numbers right now. My opinion is that we will have our information and meeting at the end of this month, or very early next month.
Thanks for the responses, I think you and I have the same impressions.  Any estimates on the per acre price and royalties that could actually come from this?  Although getting 4K per acre would be nice, I think it is unrealistic.
i talked to my friend thats in mahoning county and said that they have gotten their checks. he said that they went with alov too. i tried to contact alov by email but i didnt get a response either so i called the number about two weeks ago. got the same response should be a couple more weeks. they did find gas in mahoning when they drilled too.
Could your friends in Mahoning County tell us what the per acre price is that ALOV got for them.  If they don't want to give specific numbers, could they give a range.
$2500.00 approx per acre

What's the background information on ALOV?  Do you have any addresses on the company? Maybe we need to investigate the company.

Here is the web address:  http://www.alov.us/
this is the same group that mahoning county used and they have gotten their checks...the group is legit
