Can anyone give me any information on Scout Petroleum?  I received a letter -- they want to buy my gas, oil and mineral rights.  Has anyone had any dealings with them?

I recently became aware that I was the sole heir to over 300 acres around Cadiz, Ohio.  I am the mineral rite owner not the surface owner.  Because of the 2006 dormant mineral act it appears I may end up with nothing.  No surface owner ever notified me that they were assuming their rights to the mineral rights.  My attorney is doing her due diligence serving them with my letters of right of preservation.  My question is this...can a surface owner and a holder share the mineral rights and therefore share the royalties?

Help me please!!!  We have 4.798 acres, and have 2 wells bordering our property.  We received consumptive water usage notifications for both pads.  Both pads are in production and producing very well.  How do I find out why our property is not in the unitization or pooling for either pad?  Or if it is a mistake and we should be receiving royalties.  I know that under 5 acres the royalties are probably not much at all, but we did deal with all the traffic and noise, etc., and if we are entitled to a little money that would be a good deal.
