- I am a father of 5 children...I support my family and make my living in the oil and gas industry. I started my career in the drilling field with a water well company back in 1998. We drilled,installed and maintained water wells,treatment facilities and delivery systems (pipe lines). I have since moved to the energy side of the business. Still working in the field making all your energy need possible. This absolutely ludicrous bill will absolutely devastate my family and my ability to provide for them...as well as all the other people out there who work in areas supporting this industry...I would like to know who is going to support all the families of the workers who will ultimately lose their jobs because of this...not to mention who's going to replace the lost revenue to the state and federal coffers all these companies provide (dont forget how much money goes to agencies tasked with inspecting and maintaining safe environmental industry standards)...and dont forget that as far as environmental protection goes...we ground water and energy PROFESSIONALS rely on the environment for our lively hoods...were not going to harm it.
