Hi Willie, I heard eastern Washington County, possibly Newport. I will see what I can find out, as I have not read the article yet.

Try www.ohiodnr.com, then navigate to the oil and gas page and then to the well search database.

Hi - We are leaning heavily to joining the lowell group. After the holidays, we will be getting the family together to attend the Jan 10th meeting. I am very interested in being on the board.

Thanks and Merry Christmas :)

WLW - sorry I haven't heard any news of late...only rumor I have heard, and it is strictly rumor is it is in the Wet Gas zone.

WLW - thanks for the reply.  I am actually located in the North Eastern part of the county.  I am (as the crow flies) about 8 miles southeast of the Whitacre well.  From the ODNR maps I am borderline wet/dry but I am hoping the wet zone is moving eastward.  If you have any insight that would be great, either good or bad.  Thanks.

WLW - just wondering if you have heard how much of Washington County, Ohio is within the Oil and/or Wet Gas zone.  I have seen the maps on the ODNR site, but they haven't been updated since 2006.
