XTO is known for trying to fool people! Acreage in Harrison and Wetzel County WV are going for 1000-1500 per acre and 14.5 to 18% royaltys. They play us for dumb hillbilly's...they're going to get rich of the landowners. I'm not resigning with them when my lease runs out on July 20th, they're only offering a 500 per acre and 12.5% Royalties. I work for an oil and gas company and and the royalty percentage is going to be where your profit comes from.
