Pleasants County 100 acres

I own approximately 100 acres in Pleasants County, close to the Ohio river. Is there any leasing going on in this area? Are there any companies that market your property to gas companies?

I don't know about any leasing activity but here are a few companies with drilling activity in Pleasants.

I've seen a map where the depth of the shale layer is much deeper in the top northeast part of Pleasants and the area between St. Marys and Parkersburg. I have about three thousand acres setting in this latter area. Would the depth of the shale (25-50) make this area more valuable to the o and g companies? We have started to actively pursue leasing. Steven, I will let you know what we find out.
