I'm a landowner in Butler county looking for a referral for a natural gas attorney to represent me in lease negotiations. Looking for someone with direct experience with Marcellus in PA, preferably with lessons-learned from Washington County or prior experience with Rex.

Rob, also in butler co. have you thought about a landowners group? we're trying to get one started in butler. seems the people out in eastern side of pa had alot better dealings ( money wise after the groups got established) with gas co after that. it seems better bargaining power in numbers. if interested let message in inbox! thanks Terry
I am also in Butler Co I share property in Summit Twp, with my brother and am trying to find out if our land is marketable for leasing too. i would be interested in a group. too. Bill G.
FYI I'm in Adams Twp. Rex is definitely active here. Check the finance sites for new info on REXX this week -- continuing to ramp up their push in Butler Co, backing out of partnered operations in other areas and offering more stock to pay for it all. I imagine interest radiates out from their pressurizing station in Conneque. Trying to copy Range's success from Washington Co? Wells in Butler much more cost effective than Westmoreland (depth, angle).

I'm interested in learning more about a group too.
Bill
