Met with a few people today with Des.  I'm not going in details on here, but i stongly encourage anyone that is unsigned to go to his meetings this week.  The first is at Union Local Tuesday night.  Personally, I don't care who brings the contract to the table or how much this person will make off of any agreement, as long as the lease is there for all of us to maximize our opportunity to capatilize on this gold mine.

Cause I am on here to find the best deal for me first...If it is not with Des, maybe someone who is not so friggin dead set on bashing everybody's opinion or effort to help people with his one track mind, they might give us some better insight on what we should do.  I never said anyone should ever "COMMIT" to Des, just attend his meeting.  Be a bigger man and give me a time and date for a meeting to attend that I can do better.  IF YOU CAN, I WILL GLADLY ATTEND.  I WILL BE SEATED NEXT TO YOU WITH A WILLING TO SIGN.   Inbox me, give me you name and a time to meet you personnally, and I will show up and spread the word to all my friends.  Just because you have the ability to google my name and find out a few things about me, don't mean you know me, cause if you really knew me, you would know my real intentions. 

RichM I'm confused I thought you had a deal?  remember everyone needs to come to the meeting! you had a meeting with Des & he has a deal completed may even have the lease at the meeting.

I don't want to put words in your mouth or go back & dig them Up but you were very positive that there was a deal done and you were taking it. and we should all take it to.

 the things I do remember is you said we will hear why the last deal didn't work and all the information on this deal be there! many people left work early, had long drives and sat there and heard nothing about why that deal fell thru or why he never told his members it did leaving them waiting & waiting.

Those that went heard the same thing the deal is done bonus & royalty agreed to, Lease language agreed to only major change was the pooling went from 640 to 1280 based on length of horizontals and we would have lease in a couple days its on CEO desk to sign and we will start closings within a week!

The one thing from you that sticks in my head was "des will either be very rich or selling hot dogs in 2 weeks"

The meeting was on Jan. 24th thats 2 weeks ago yesterday & no one has heard a thing? and you were the voice of Des on here yet you post this in respnse to anyone know whats going on.

Im just asking & since you promoted the meetings & the two weeks have come & gone that you at least tell the people whats going on since you say you know? being a bit ficitious here but is Des Rich or selling hotdogs? You know this is at least the 5th deal he has announced that not one has come to fruition?

Will you tell you neighbors the status or not?

Tom , I think Rich has fell for  the deal is on the table . I wouldn't be so hard on him , lets try to educate everyone and make our self stronger .

A lot of others have been there done that to .

Ridgeman I honestly don't think he is employed by Des and my contacts say hes a straight shooter, that I believe just believed Des and probably hasnt't seen the trend since April of 2011 as most of us have, But if he knows whether there is a deal or NOT & our Neighbors are waiting to hear,

He should let them know so if a deal is offered they can make an informed choice whether to go thru this again, accept another offer or join a good landowner group thats run by landowners not oil or landmen.

Tom I  had a person stop by my house interested in my farm in Monroe co. They are offering 5000.00 and 15% and it sounded like they might move a little . A friend of mine told me that this person was interested in leasing his land last week and what a know he showed up here .If you are interested in his info add me to your friend list .

Ridgeman Im good, Im in the Eastern monroe land group, lensman & associates is marketing & in negotatiations on our acreage, The only reasson I was talking to XTO is that when beck sold his deep rights to XTO My acreage is completley surrounded on all four sides & about 400 acres in my section of the Township! and they contacted me, I talked because under those circumstances it made sense & I think they felt i would jump at their lowball offer they started at $4000 & 18%, I said cant do that then about a week later I got an email saying we may be able go $4300 to $4500 & 19%, I am to old to play those games & don't need the money so I told him thanks but no thanks I didn't appreciate the games.so i will just stay with my which I had already intended to do anyway butfigured never hurts to listen, I wont sign for less than $4950 & 19% grossand a good lease for anyone, it can just sit there

 

Heard from good source that xto is takeing monroe for 4950 19% with hidden valley contract or better. Going to find out for sure tomorrow .

Chris, have you found out anymore info on XTO in Monroe.  I just talked to them a couple days ago and they said they are not leasing in Monroe right now.  Des has a meeting Saturday at 3 at SwissHills but Ive heard he has no deal to offer. EMLO had their meeting last night but havent heard anything from that.   My neighbor told me today that both groups wanted to join with the Antero deal in Lewisville but Antero said no.  I was kind of hoping maybe both groups could settle a deal soon.

This is disappointing news.  I think most people are expecting a deal since he is calling a "special meeting" on short notice.  Otherwise, he could have provided an update in the e-mail.
