Shell (East Resources) has leased most of the area here. Other than a few lease holder wells, and state land drilling there has been no discussion of any other work in this area. Looking at the maps of the existing wells, it seems like this area is on hold. Last year a discussion was done for a well with one of the property owners, but never was implemented. It looks like ground testing was done recently.  Just curious if there were any rumblings for the 2012 year.  -M

Isn't there a well being drilled in Arnot that can be seen from Rt. 15 headed north..

I know there is a well in process on the powerline above Arnot. It seems there is some minor activity, but only a vertical well to hold some area leases and some talk of drilling that never took place.  -M

My  husband is working on a well up in Arnot now..Tonight the rig came down..

there is a lot of activity in chatham township, and now starting in deerfield township, all Shell. Most pads are getting 2  wells but they are closeing the valves off, some are flaired and some arn't. The Neal well on 249 had a small amount of production in the last half or 2011 but Shell says that they are waiting for the pipeline.

Joe how can the Neal well produce 3.2 mil. a day according to the production report if they are waiting for a pipeline? The people in the drilling unit are supposed to get royaltys in the very near future ? Unless the exsisting pipe is to full and they have to throttle back?

I think the production report said that Neal well had about 9mmcf but that was in 21 days of production, then in the comments section of the report it states that they are waiting on pipeline. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT????? anybody know?

Joe divide gross output by number of days, move decimal three digits to the left,if there is not a number to the left after that its under a million a day.T he three horizontals added up to 3.2 a day without a pipeline sounds hard to do ?

Paleface there is a pipeline witch runs from that well to the Watkins well and then on to the Cummings well but Shell says in the comments section of the production report that they are waiting for pipeline, wich one, I cant figure, as there is one already in place. I watched them putting the pipeline in.

Joe I watched the pipes go in also there was a large and a small,I think it was a 24 inch and a 8 inch I think the 8 was for water,my property is oposite corner of the well rt 249 and short hill rd,I don't know if they started the sizemic yet?I was told by someone in the drilling unit that royalty checks will be sent shortly?

Was that on State land?

No that's just outside of Little Marsh on 249.
