How does this work?  Does Marcellus pay for the housing of these employees? (Camp Sites, Hotel Rooms, Rental Housing) or are the employees responsible for finding housing and paying for it?  Can Belmont County Expect to see a large number of these workers in the area and approx. how many people and when?

The companies drilling usually house their workers within the area of operation.  They use hotels, motels, apartments and anything else they can find to put a roof over the heads of these folks.  If Belmont has large operations then yes, you can expect to see quite a few people in place.

Do the workers pay for their housing or does the drilling company?  Are these workers to find their own housing or does the company find the housing for them?

Typically, workers are on their own to find housing.

When I stopped to talk to a seismic testing worker I asked him where he was staying. He said Salem and wondered if I knew of anyone with a house for rent. My neighbor works for Chesapeake doing soil testing. He's on 12 days than off about the same. They give a food and housing allowance for those 12 on days. To me this is no different than when my husband worked in Ohio for 18 months but flew back to the east coast for the weekends. He also had an allowance which meant where he stayed and what he ate was up to him but they were only going to pay him back so much.
In north Dakota during a couple news specials I saw they had housing developed for the workers. I do not know if after something like is built if the workers are forced or asked to stay in that area. That area said there just wasn't any housing for them but here there is so maybe it was built just for convience and the workers welcomed it.
I asked point blank to the seismic testing guy who came to the house to get our permission in november if they paid his lodging and food. He said yes. I even asked how much he got paid, yes I'm nosey but I was wondering what kind of money is made doing jobs like this. It was something like 250-300 a day but food and lodging was out of that money too. He said it could be higher it just depends.

Well it's been my experience that workers come from like Texas and the Dakota's , they will more than likely be driving home everynight  then that way they can save on lodging and meals. But you know they will have to drive extremely fast in order to make back for their next shift.  I'm just sayin..

OMG....

BELIEVE IT........... Or ............ NOT........

Keeps the demand for oil up.  One should support the industry they work in.
