Does anyone know much about Carrizo? A few of my freinds had signed leases with them back in Oct. and havent heard a peep out of them or received any checks. Their 120 ca;lender days are fast approaching.

Permalink Reply by shade2u2 on March 8, 2012 at 11:44am Regarding Carrizo, I heard that they were a broker that signs leases and then looks to sell them at which time they pay the original lease - like some brokers do. This is just a 2nd hand rumor that I heard today. I do not have any direct experience or knowledge about them. But if this is true, I thought I should make you aware of what I heard.
I guess this would be called a true flipper.

That's what can be good about this forum. All sides, news, ideas or knowledge can be shared. Again, I certainly don't know any facts about Carrizo, but their name happen to come up in some oil & gas discussion today unrelated to this topic on this forum. After doing a quick google search I see that "Carrizo" appears to be an established horizontal driller. I should have done that first before posting my rumor. Sorry for my misinformation.
Thank you for the input.
