Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about Williams/Rex plans after the Uschak wells in Derry Township?  Does anyone know where the next wells are planned?

I am not sure. Just realized that they started the Uschak well. Is this the only well planned on Uschak road?
The Uschak unit was just recorded in the Westmorland County recorder of deeds yesterday. There is a map on the website - that unit continues up past the Shannon farm on Uschak road - 597 acres total. There are five wells permitted on the Uschak unit right now. I haven't heard of any other wells planned. I'm hoping someone on this site has heard about future plans in the area. Are you on Uschak road?
williams has been dismantling the large rig on the slavek trust, and moving it to the uschack unit the past 3 days.
I know a well was just drilled outside of Stahlstown..... Not sure if thats Derry Township??? Was the Oeschlager Well right off of 130..... I was on that job. Longfellow Energy was the company... Their first well in the Marcellus.
It is Cook Township. I have noticed that no new permits have been issued to Longfellow, or Williams, for that matter, from January 1 through the end of April, 2010. Is all on hold until these wells(the Oelschlager and Rial wells) are fracked and production is realized, or is there a wait for gathering line development, or both?
The Oelschlager well was fracked a month and a half ago. I did the flow back on the well. Then got sent to another jobs. The well was not making much gas when I was there. Other than that I couldnt tell you whats going on there. I dont think it will be a very promising well for Longfellow. It was a vertical test well. Not a horizontal.
Nick,

When did they start a new well and where on Seger Road? I missed that one.

thanks

Carol
In the Rex Energy joint venture, Williams is drilling the Uschak-2 4H well which is one of five wells planned for the Uschak-2 pad. After those five, there are plans for a Uschak-1 three well pad.

Williams is schedule to complete three Slavek Trust joint venture wells (Slavek Trust 1H, 2H & 3H) in June/July which will be their first attempt at a Marcellus Shale well completion.
May,

Do you know what area is encompassed in the Uschak -1 three well pad?

Thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave,

Sorry, but I do not. I was just looking at the Rex Energy corporate presentation from their website to get the update on their Westmoreland activity. Let me know if you find anything though!

Thanks,
May
Dave - I believe it's the same unit as Uschak 2. That map is recorded with the Westmoreland County Recorder of Deeds. 597 acres including the entire Uschak farm, Latrobe elks, out past the Shannon farm.... Are you in that unit?
Williams just applied for 3 well permits on the Androstic-Marco unit.
