I'm trying to find those who have dealt with Rex Energy as they have approached us about our land. If you have dealt with this company, would you be willing to share about your experience?

Thanks!

Tonya,

Rex is who we signed with, overall I can't complain much, Rex was forthcoming and fair.

glad to see that they are still in the area, I figured everyone was concentrating on Ohio.

Thank you!

I signed with Rex and had a good experience so did my brother in law.  We received our signing bonus and what we felt a reasonable percentage of 15%.  Maybe, some are doing better and some did not.  We had been approached several times and finally felt 'why not?'.  This web site informed us that Rex filed for a well site in the vicinity of our property.  We have no idea of it will include our land.  It seems that interstate 79 has the activity with Rex on the eastern side.  We are on the western side.  Only time will tell.  Our land man estimated we would not hear anything unil 2012 when we signed in 2010.  We are not doing anything with the undeveloped land other than paying taxes.

Thank you!

where are you located? We are in Center Twp. and no one has approched us as of yet

Aproximately 19 acres on each side of Gudikunst Road, west of Rte.19 and 79.  Not that far from the Beagle Club where Rex has 5 well permits, as the crow flies, but have no idea what is up.  Everyone is predicting a bad winter so maybe the need for natural gas will increase.  That is in Jackson Twp.

Michelle or anyone else that knows current offers... wondering if the 15% royalty with Rex energy had deductions for transportation or other costs.  Is this standard at current time in Butler County and has anyone had success having this taken out of lease offer?   Thanks

I have 26 acres along rt 19 by where Eppingers was , just got contacted yesterday and offered $1,500 per acre and 15% that was net, not gross. I am also asking if this is a decent deal now and also if they spend the time to find you it seems they may be willing to negotiate.

Thanks Michael.
